My name is Stella Stamoulaki — trained Babywearing Consultant (certificate by Die Trageschule® London), founder of babywearing.gr and creator of Asteraki Slings.
Since 2005, I’ve been teaching, supporting and guiding parents and professionals through the world of babywearing and closeness.

I’ve trained hundreds of parents through one-on-one consultations and hands-on workshops. I’ve collaborated with health professionals, midwives and parenting counselors, and spoken on TV and radio about the role of babywearing in infant development and bonding.

I’ve also participated in international babywearing projects and conferences, with a special focus on challenging cases: premature babies, twins, parents with physical limitations, breastfeeding on the go, or babywearing in combination with braces or orthotic devices.
There is always a way for every baby to be comfortably worn — and I’m here to help you find it.

What are Asteraki Slings?

Asteraki slings are not just “handmade carriers.” They are ergonomic tools for closeness, designed with knowledge, care, and technical precision.
They are crafted entirely in Greece, in our own showroom workshop, by an experienced seamstress, using certified fabrics that meet strict criteria and undergo thorough quality checks.

We don’t offer “a bit of everything.” Every carrier in our collection - whether made by us or by a trusted European brand - has been carefully selected based on strict standards of ergonomics, safety, and quality.

We proudly offer carriers from brands like KinderHop, Luna Dream, Minimonkey, and Ergobaby, only when they meet the same standards we would choose for our own baby.

I also train professionals — midwives, lactation consultants, pediatric physiotherapists — on how to use baby carriers safely and effectively in daily life and in more complex cases.
