As part of the events for International Babywearing Week 2011<\/a> many mums proved that wearing your baby doesn’t have to be expensive, it can be done with simple everyday objects, or with a little willingness to sew:<\/p>\n

Make your own carrier<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Make<\/a>Whether you sew<\/strong> or use a simple sheet<\/strong> or a tablecloth<\/strong>, you can have your own baby carrier and wear your baby comfortably and in the most economical way!<\/p>\n

Make your own carrier<\/strong> and send us photos of your creation!<\/p>\n

The photos will be published on the babywearing.gr page on facebook <\/a>and one of them will win a unique Asteraki mei tai in a draw!<\/p>\n

The photos must depict safe babywearing<\/strong> with a carrier that has NOT been bought and has not been made by a professional<\/strong> or by someone who sells baby carriers.<\/p>\n

It can be a carrier of any type that you have sewn yourself (or someone who loves you and knows how to sew!).<\/p>\n

It can be a piece of cloth<\/strong> (or a towel, tablecloth, sheet, scarf, wrap, etc.) with which you wear your baby. No age restrictions (neither for babies, nor for parents!) and no restrictions on position (you can wear your baby on the front, on the back, on the side, whatever suits you).<\/p>\n

The photos can be sent by email to ibw2011@babywearing.gr<\/strong> or via facebook<\/a> by private message. You can also post your photos directly on the page of the “Make your own carrier!” event<\/a>, as long as you are sure that you are wearing your baby in a safe way.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can send more than one<\/strong> photo if they show a different “carrier” or a different position\/way you wear your baby. Each photo will count as a separate entry!<\/p>\n

By taking part in the draw you agree to have your photo published on the website www.babywearing.gr and\/or on the blog www.asterakislings.blogspot.com and\/or on the page www.facebook.com\/asterakislings or in other media promoting International Babywearing Week 2011 \u2013 Greece.<\/p>\n

You can send\/post your photos from now until 15\/10\/2011.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All entries will be entered into the draw on Monday 17\/10\/11<\/strong> and the winner of the draw will receive, within 10 days of the end of IBW2011, an Asteraki mei tai<\/strong> (worth 65 euros) with free shipping.<\/strong><\/p>\n
