A carrier-cloth, so simple!<\/h2>\n

The wrap<\/a> carrier is a simple piece of cloth \u2014 most of the time it needs no sewing, it needs nothing, it is very easy to make yourself!<\/strong><\/p>\n

It distributes the weight across both shoulders, very convenient for long trips with a heavy child, very comfortable when you wear it correctly.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The wrap is convenient for hands-free breastfeeding (but it needs adjustment of the tie \u2014 if the child wants to be at the breast constantly it may be a bit more time-consuming).<\/p>\n

Very flexible<\/strong> (many ways of tying and positioning the child).<\/p>\n

It takes a little more “learning”<\/strong>, especially for back positions (it is, however, a small investment of time that is definitely worth it!). You can see detailed instructions for your Asteraki wrap here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It is less simple to put the child in and take it out of some positions (it’s not as convenient when you need to take it down constantly).<\/p>\n

It takes a little time to tie, and so much fabric may confuse some people (but once you get used to it, it is actually very simple)!<\/p>\n

It is generally a warm carrier<\/strong>, not especially suited to the Greek summer.<\/p>\n

Usually, those who use a stretchy<\/strong> wrap<\/a> with their newborn baby look for an alternative (either another type of carrier, or a firm wrap<\/a>) once the baby grows and gets heavy<\/strong> enough.<\/p>\n

Attention:<\/strong> only wraps made from completely firm<\/strong> fabric are suitable for back positions<\/strong>. Wrap carriers made from stretchy fabric are not suitable for this position.<\/p>\n

If the wrap has already won you over, you can choose between a wrap made from stretchy fabric<\/a> and a wrap made from firm woven fabric<\/a>.<\/p>\n
