For the past five years, the babywearing.gr team has been the only official Greek participation in the celebration of International Babywearing Week.

From the celebration of International Babywearing Week 2012, with the theme “Carrying on Traditions”.
We gathered images and information about traditional Greek babywearing and Greek carriers, we visited the Centre of Folk Art and Tradition, we walked through the narrow streets of traditional Plaka, we met at the National Garden, and we got to know babywearing and its secrets a little better!

With the main goal of making babywearing known in Greece, a series of events took place and highlighted baby carriers and how they can help babies and parents!
