Method “Turn from the hip”
An easy method, especially handy if your child is already quite big or quite heavy.
Note: In the photos below I am already 6.5 months pregnant and my Vasilis weighs 15 kilos!
1. Hold the child at your side, supporting them on your hip.
2. Bending down to support their weight, pass your arm over your baby and hold them firmly, slowly turning them toward your back.
3. Using both of your hands, bring the child to the center of your back. Throughout this whole process you should stay bent forward so that the child rests on your back.
4. You should always have at least one arm around your baby until you “secure” them with the sling and the babywearing method you have chosen.
