Babywearing Celebration for the whole family!
Carrying connects. Babywearing connects a mother with her baby, but also the entire family. To complete the celebration of European Babywearing Week 2018, we’re preparing a wonderful celebration where the power of carrying will shine above all! Many wonderful surprises, lots of hugs, carriers, activities.
When and Where?
The event will be kindly hosted by Playgroup Hellas, Kykladon 61, 15341 Agia Paraskevi.
Saturday, May 12, 2018, 12:00 – 15:00
Participation in the celebration, the babywearing workshops and the cooking event is entirely free. Healthy snacks and juices will be offered.
Apart from the baby (who will be with mum), the goal is to make it a truly family celebration, so don’t leave older siblings at home! There will be a wonderful space for them to play!
Mama-chef!
The main event of the day will be cooking! Food blogger and nutritionist Georgia Irini Ganasouli (Mamangelic) will be with us and will help us become master-chefs!
While wearing our babies, we’ll make delicious treats to share with daddies, siblings and everyone with us! And so, it will be babywearing in action, in the everyday life of a mum!

Eirini is the amazing mom behind mamangelic.com, working to bring a better, more nutritious way of eating to everyone! Especially for that day, since we’ll be wearing our babies, she’ll show us how to make a surprise no-bake treat. We’ll bring the ingredients, but booking your place is required. Book your place using the form at the end of this page.
The recipe won’t take more than 30 minutes.
If you don’t have a carrier, don’t worry at all, just note this too in the form below and we’ll give you the appropriate carrier for your baby’s age so you have free hands!
Babywearing workshops
At the same time, babywearing workshops for carriers will be running, because carrying connects babywearers together too!
So if something is giving you trouble or there’s something you’d like to perfect in how you carry your baby, babywearing consultant Stella Stamoulaki will be there to answer questions and help with new tries.
