Well, no. The biggest part of the cost of an Asteraki sling is none of the above. It is the VAT. On an Asteraki you buy for 45 euros, the VAT is 10.8 euros. Those 10.8 euros don’t actually reach us. The price you pay for everything above is 34.2 euros. And you give it to a legal, Greek business that provides legal employment and has been taxed legally since 2007.

An Asteraki will be used every day, for years. (Compare it with any piece of clothing for your baby that won’t fit after 2-3 months. Compare it too with conventional carriers that usually come with a manufacturer’s age limit of 6-9 months.)
