Asteraki Mei tai, an ergonomic baby carrier suitable for newborns from day one up to about 3 years (20 kg).
Made from 100% organic cotton, certified fabrics.
Outer: Around the world (designer fabric, 100% organic cotton)
Inner, Straps: Pure grey soft and cool, 100% organic cotton, woven yet very soft and fine, made especially for carriers, exclusively for Asteraki Slings.
Note: The pattern may vary from one carrier to the next, depending on how the fabric is cut. Unfortunately we can’t know in advance exactly where each element (for example the large or the small hot-air balloon) will fall on the carrier, though we always try to show it off as nicely as possible.
Perfect for breastfeeding, for napping and for walks, and ideal for your baby’s development.
This particular Asteraki, like all those made with organic cotton, is finer (lighter) than the rest, making it the more common choice for year-round wear and for summer. That said, warmth comes mainly from the closeness of the embrace and the contact with your baby rather than from the fabric, so the difference is very small. Read more if you like here.
