The moment I put my little girl in the mei-tai she fell asleep I M M E D I A T E L Y ! ! ! And it’s not the first time it’s happened, so I can’t call it a coincidence — it happens all the time!!!
I bought my own Asteraki in May 2010… for 1.5 years it was wash and wear… I wore my son all the time… I rarely used a pram…
Since November 2012 I’ve been wearing my baby constantly… Especially this past month, almost day and night.
I’ve seen lots of slings but nothing compares to the Asteraki in quality and fit. After 3 years of countless washes it’s still like new… I consider myself very lucky that, in my search for a sling back then, I found Stella… The best purchase I ever made when it comes to anything to do with the kids…
A big thank you — with your creations we spent 29 wonderful months of cuddles and sweet carrying! We’re stopping right about here, since we’ve reached 21 kilos and 1.06 metres and I just can’t carry him anymore!!! If I could, I’d send you a thousand and one photos… Mums, all the Asterakis are perfect… they just need correct positioning and you’ll absolutely love them! Kisses from us, who had both a sling and a mei tai and of course a mesh one for endless dips in the water!
For me it was probably the most useful thing I bought, and it let me come through — both mentally and physically — an incredibly difficult first six months with my little girl’s intense reflux, and later do everything I wanted with my older son too without getting tired. My little one went on walks in the sling, slept there, breastfed there; the carrier was always with us on every outing.
Thank you so much for your help with how to wear my ring sling!!! My baby loved it!! So did the paediatrician who saw him in it!!! She was thrilled and asked me for information!!! My little one is a walking advertisement for the sling!!!
Our mei tai arrived yesterday; we were impressed by the attention to detail, the quality of the fabrics, and most of all by how safe I felt carrying my son in it! My little one and I already adore it. Stella, thank you!!
Even though I admit I wasn’t much of a mei-tai fan at first, now that Andreas has got heavier, I’ve changed my mind. Even on long walks, it doesn’t tire me out at all!

Baby got hungry just as you’re about to head out to run errands? No problem!! You pick them up and feed them out and about, in the sling!!
(I wish I’d discovered the Asterakis before I gave birth, they would have made things unimaginably easier in those first days with the marathon breastfeeds when I couldn’t get out and go anywhere and was stuck in bed all day).

I have one thing to say… 16 months on, we’re walking, we’re going wild, but the mei tai is a constant when it comes to sleep!!! It should come in a little package along with the nappies as you leave the maternity ward…

if we hadn’t had the slings from Stella we would have been done for, especially in the early days… I regretted rushing to buy a cot, a pram, a travel cot, but if you asked me which is the most sensible purchase I’d answer, without a doubt, the sling! And I should note that other companies’ ones didn’t suit me at all!

And here we are the first time we tried our Mei-tai! We snuggle up inside there, we sleep, we enjoy it so much! We’re still little and don’t look out yet, but time passes and we’ll enjoy it even more as we get to know the world! Stella, thank you, it’s perfect, so beautiful and practical!

my ring sling is amazing. I used to be sad that I couldn’t go out for a walk… 6 km with my baby in the sling and if I need to I can breastfeed without anyone noticing a thing… I wonder why I didn’t have one with my older child…

Stella, since Tuesday when I received my mei-tai I’ve been thrilled! And so has my little bug! I put him on my back very easily too, watching the video of the mei-tai tied on in advance — only mine loves to pull my hair, so for now I avoid it in case I end up bald… 😀 😀

Publicly on parents’ forums/chats: I think it’s the most useful purchase I’ve made!!!! The lady, bless her, does an amazing job!!!! Extremely professional! She’s most polite, incredibly helpful and her slings are by far the best (especially the ones with the different-coloured rail are very pretty). Before Stella I bought a sling from another lady (I hadn’t discovered Stella) which turned out to be a total flop because the rings are too big, so the fabric doesn’t grip well and the child slips! What a waste of the money I spent!…. Stella all the way!!!

Yes, I vote for Stella too, a thousand times over!!!! I got a ring sling that I used right up until spring, when my little one was 11 kilos, and I stopped using it because of pregnancy, but I also sewed a pouch from the instructions she gives. The lady answered all the questions I had about how to put the child in. Bless her!

Well, I vote for Stella all the way too. For me, now that my little girl is 8130 in weight and 70 centimetres, the mei tai has been a lifesaver…….It’s perfect, I made it just the way I wanted it and dad wears it too. And it’s also economical compared to others and handmade. And our sling is perfect too, but these days I feel more comfortable with the mei tai!

I agree when it comes to buying a ring sling from Stella….. very good work and a good price it seems to me…. as for her service and her help I have no words…. she helped me a lot with using it correctly… and now that my little one is going through a colicky phase the sling has literally saved us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I vote for Stella too! Flawless work and an incredible professional! As for her service, I have no words! I’d got a doll-like ring sling just before giving birth, EXACTLY as I’d described it to her… when Nikolas reached 6-7 months, I emailed her to ask about the mei tai, since my little rascal had grown a lot and I was worried he wasn’t comfortable… anyone else would have happily sold me the mei tai… but Stella talked me out of it and showed me countless ways to keep using my ring sling correctly! She’s a goddess and I bow to her!

I agree with the ladies before me!! I gave a sling from Stella as a gift to a mum, and seeing it in the photo is one thing, in real life quite another.Perfect work!! As for me, I use a sling that my cousin gave me, bought from Stella, and it’s flawless!

Good evening! I went to my 1st babywearing meet-up today! It was so very lovely, in a space welcoming to parents and children, and there were mums-to-be, 3-month-old babies and older babies but also toddlers! If you’re interested in carriers… I definitely recommend you go!

Almost from the moment my baby was born we’ve been everywhere together — or rather, on top of me! I’m absolutely crazy about the soft carriers I bought from Stella! Now I’m waiting for her to send me a purple ring sling! It’s the best thing for the baby, because their little legs don’t dangle like in the usual carriers, the hips are properly supported and your hands are free without the sense that the baby will slip out! I have to say I felt as if I were pregnant again! He was so tiny, curling up inside the carrier… Our baby has had incredible sleeps in his carrier. We go to the supermarket, out for a walk around town, all sorts of little errands, shopping for the baby. I keep it in my bag and pop! I whip it out and off we go on our little stroll. One day the baby got bored in the pram and I put him straight into the pouch! I even put him facing forward and our walk suddenly became interesting to him. The ring sling and the pouch are a piece of fabric that takes up no room at all in a mum’s bag! Our most useful “tools”! Our little carriers!

In the photo I’m sharing with you, Konstantinos is sleeping blissfully (with his eyes half-open) in the ring sling that Stella made for us! And a piece of advice for current and future baby-mamas: our babies settle down (e.g. this photo was taken after a tiring day full of fussing from Konstantinos) and they “find their happy place” inside a sling. Try it!

Let me let you in on a secret: I wear my baby in one of Stella’s carriers. That means I breastfeed him standing up while strolling up and down the living room. This is the second carrier Stella has made for me, and since I got it yesterday I’ve been wearing it non-stop!
